We started with just a few goats to clear brush here on our cattle ranch back in the summer of 2000. Over the next couple of years the goat herd grew to over 165 does. We had a mixed herd of meat, dairy, and even a few pygmy goats. Then as our children became more active in 4-H and FFA we started cutting the herd back to just Boer and other breeds of meat goats for them to show. Striving to raise good quality goats that are able to forage for themselves and kid out on pasture. Our children no longer show but we still raise commercial, registered goats, & show wethers.
We open The Goat Shop - Goat supply store in 2008.
Does with good mothering ability and can forage out on pasture.
